Job summary

Technical Framing Solutions is seeking an experienced Wall Panel Designer to join our Design team in Murray, UT. You will develop production-ready wood-framed wall panel designs from project documents and ensure accuracy for fabrication and field installation.

The role requires strong knowledge of wood-frame construction and the ability to translate construction documents into detailed wall panel designs, with occasional travel and a full-time, exempt schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to create wall panel designs from architectural/structural plans.
• Experience mentoring junior designers and enforcing design standards.
• Proficient in interpreting architectural/structural drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create wall panel designs.
• Train and mentor less experienced designers.
• Maintain design standards and processes.
• Provide QC on designed shop drawings.
• Assist lead designer in RFIs, Change Orders, Material Submittals, Fieldwire submissions.
• Enter weekly hours worked per job/level in ADP.
