Job summary

Alteryx Inc. is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer to lead risk reduction across our enterprise.

This role focuses on triaging vulnerabilities, coordinating remediation, and maturing the vulnerability program while partnering with engineering teams to secure cloud and container environments. Responsibilities include deploying and tuning scanning tools, analyzing threats, and communicating remediation plans to IT, Engineering and Security stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience/training.
• 5+ years in an Information Security orIT role, preferably in vulnerability management or related fields.
• Proficiency with enterprise vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable.io, Rapid7, Qualys, etc.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the vulnerability management process including triaging vulnerabilities and tracking them through their lifecycle.
• Monitor for known vulnerabilities posing risk to the platform and coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Install, monitor, test, troubleshoot, and administer vulnerability scanning tools.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to secure cloud and container infrastructure.
• Develop remediation plans and process documentation for policies and procedures.
