Job summary

BigBear.ai is seeking a Vulnerability Researcher to uncover vulnerabilities across hardware, software, and operating systems, including proof-of-concept exploits, to support national security missions.

You will work on classified, mission-critical research, collaborating with elite engineers and researchers, with the freedom to explore and push the boundaries of vulnerability research.

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• 10+ years of technical experience and a BS in a technical discipline (4 extra years may substitute for a degree).
• Minimum of 4 years programming in Assembly, C, C++, Perl, or Python in a production environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of contiguous experience in CS, information systems, or network engineering, OR a BS plus 3 years in CS/IS/NET ENG.
• Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in hardware or software reverse engineering.
• Demonstrated experience creating and delivering technical presentations to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's Degree in CS or related field, OR minimum of 2 years in CS/IS/NET ENG.

Responsibilities

• Hunt for vulnerabilities: debug software, troubleshoot crashes, analyze program flow to find security flaws.
• Analyze source code to discover vulnerabilities and document impact/severity.
• Develop proof-of-concept exploits against targets and demonstrate findings.
• Present findings through technical presentations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Drive innovation by discovering unknown vulnerabilities across multiple versions of similar tech.
