Veritis Group Inc. seeks a Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer to own the full lifecycle of vulnerabilities across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role combines hands‑on vulnerability platform expertise with the ability to translate findings into risk‑based actions for infra, apps, and business teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, cybersecurity, or related field.
• 4–8 years hands-on vulnerability management or security engineering.
• Strong ownership of full vulnerability lifecycle from identification to closure.
• Experience with Qualys VMDR, Tenable, Rapid7 or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of CVE, CVSS, CPE, exploitability and risk prioritization.
• Ability to translate findings into actionable remediation plans.

Responsibilities

• Own vulnerability findings from identification and triage through remediation, validation, and closure.
• Analyse scanner results and contextual risk data (CVE, CVSS, KEV, EPSS, advisories).
• Investigate findings for applicability, root cause, and ownership; determine remediation actions.
• Identify false positives, duplicates, and required validations or documentation.
• Communicate remediation requirements to owners across teams.
• Track remediation timelines and support emergency response to critical threats.
• Provide technical guidance to remediation teams; ensure proper disposition in VM tools.
• Operate and optimize vulnerability platforms (Qualys VMDR, Tenable, Rapid7).
• Maintain dashboards, asset groups, and data quality; develop risk metrics.
