Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading cybersecurity organization, seeks a Principal Security Engineer specializing in Vulnerability Management and Exposure Management. This fully remote role focuses on maturing enterprise programs through automation and AI-assisted workflows.

You will identify, prioritize, and coordinate remediation across enterprise environments, shaping program strategy and delivering executive-ready guidance with a strong emphasis on automation and risk-based prioritization.

Qualifications

• Deeply technical with hands-on API, data, cloud, scripting, and security platforms.
• Independent problem solver who investigates unfamiliar tech and environments.
• Exposure Management practitioner understanding end-to-end risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior technical authority and escalation point for Vulnerability Management and Exposure Management challenges.
• Define strategy for customer engagements and translate objectives into execution plans.
• Lead high-impact technical work including troubleshooting, architecture review, integrations, and data analysis.
• Develop automation via APIs, scripting, or data workflows to scale Exposure Management programs.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to thought leadership and reusable methodologies.
