Job summary

Interactive Brokers is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and deliver scalable web UIs within the Vue.js ecosystem. You’ll own high-traffic apps, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to our Vue UI Component Library in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

You’ll work with Vue.js, TypeScript, and AI-enabled tooling to push innovative, high-performance trading UI across desktop and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with an emphasis on single-page web app development.
• Hands-on experience with Vue.js/React.js/Angular.js and AI tooling.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS/LESS and modern web tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable web applications within the VueJs ecosystem (VueJs, Vuex, Pinia, Vite, Cypress, webpack).
• Owning and building high-traffic applications with a focus on speed and user experience.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ideate, plan, and organize large-scale projects.
• Contribute and help maintain our company-wide Vue UI Component Library.
• Set direction and partner with other frontend engineers to implement new technologies.
• Work with a team of intelligent, intense and fast-moving co-workers.
