Job summary

Sugpiat Defense LLC seeks a Program Manager for a Virtual Security Operations Center (vSOC) with active TS/SCI eligibility. This remote/hybrid role oversees 24/7 SOC operations, adherence to FISMA/NIST standards, and firm-fixed-price contract performance in a federal setting.

The ideal candidate has CISSP and 10+ years in cybersecurity or IT program management, plus 5+ years managing SOC/vSOC environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and PMP/QCP experience are required.

Qualifications

• CISSP certification and 10+ years in cybersecurity or IT program management.
• Experience leading vSOC operations in federal or defense environments.
• Strong understanding of FISMA, NIST, OMB, Zero Trust requirements.
• Proven ability to develop and execute PMPs and QCPs for complex government programs.
• Proven leadership with technical and client-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead program planning, resource management, scheduling, and risk mitigation via PMP.
• Deliver and maintain a Quality Control Plan to meet SLA thresholds and federal standards.
• Interface with the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative.
• Manage staffing, subcontractors, and stakeholder coordination.
• Oversee vSOC operations delivering 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with federal security frameworks and continuous improvement actions.
