Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Managing Director, Value Creation Office to join the team. Reporting to the CFO, the role will lead enterprise value creation during growth, transformation, and active M&A, translating investment theses into disciplined value creation plans with clear ownership, milestones, and financial tracking.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressively senior leadership experience in value creation or transformation.
• Proven ability to translate value creation theses into measurable financial outcomes across cost, revenue, and operations.
• Experience with synergy tracking, savings validation, P&L accountability, and management reporting.
• Strong financial and operational acumen with executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate investment theses, diligence findings, and transformation priorities into value creation plans.
• Partner with Corporate Development, Finance, IMO, and leaders during diligence and pre-close planning.
• Define value creation priorities by acquisition, region, function, and initiative with clear ownership.
• Maintain a consolidated value creation tracker with standardized taxonomy and data quality.
• Define and lead monthly P&L accountability reviews and executive updates.
• Embed value creation opportunities into integration planning and post-close execution.
