Job summary

Signature Consultants seeks a Senior Vice President, Senior C++ Market Data Engineer for Equities Electronic Trading in Jersey City, NJ or NYC, NY. This is a leadership role overseeing the architectural vision and execution of our ultra-low-latency market data platform.

The role requires 10+ years of C++ HTF experience, strong networking and Linux performance skills, and a track record in delivering high-performance market data systems. Hybrid work with 3 days onsite.

Qualifications

• 10+ years C++ in HFT/low-latency environments.
• Expert in C++17/20, templates, multithreading, memory management.
• Low-level systems programming and high-performance networking.
• Experience building market data feed handlers for equities.
• Knowledge of market structure and data normalization.
• Leadership, mentoring, and architecture delivery.
• Strong problem solving and production issue resolution.
• BS in CS/Engineering; MS preferred.
• Linux trading infrastructure and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with exchange connectivity and real-time data distribution.
• Latency measurement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural vision for ultra-low-latency market data platform.
• Define strategic direction and ensure flawless execution.
• Lead Equities Market Data engineering team.
• Mentor engineers and drive technical direction.
• Ensure robust exchange connectivity and real-time data distribution.
• Troubleshoot production issues in time-critical environments.
