Xcel Energy is seeking a SVP, Supply Chain to provide enterprise leadership across procurement, strategic sourcing, and category management for a major energy utility. The role drives capital program execution, AI/data-driven decision-making, and governance to meet safety and regulatory standards.

The position oversees global supplier partnerships, risk management, and ongoing optimization of fleet, inventory, and nuclear/safety-critical supply chains.

Qualifications

• Leads enterprise procurement and logistics for a division generating $5B+ revenue.
• Experience delivering large-capital procurement in a regulated environment (utilities, energy infrastructure, or industrial).
• Proven ability to deploy analytics and AI in sourcing, with governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Translate a $60B capital plan into sourcing and supplier capacity.
• Lead strategic partnerships to secure capacity with OEMs and EPCs.
• Drive standardization of equipment and specifications to reduce cost and risk.
• Structure contracting strategies balancing risk, schedule, and total cost of ownership.
• Oversee fleet, logistics, inventory, and safety-critical supply chains to ensure regulatory compliance.
