Position Summary

A national leader in contract foodservice solutions is seeking a Senior Vice President of Food Service Operations to oversee a high-profile portfolio across the Pacific Northwest and Southwest regions.

This executive-level opportunity offers the chance to lead transformative operational strategies, drive significant financial outcomes, and develop high-performing teams within a dynamic, growth-focused organization.

The Senior Vice President will play a critical role in shaping regional business success, operational innovation, and client satisfaction while championing excellence in service delivery across a major multi-site footprint.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Operations:

  • Define and execute regional operational strategies to meet and exceed organizational objectives.
  • Drive sustainable financial growth, margin enhancement, and service excellence across all managed accounts.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of senior directors and operational leaders to build a culture of performance and accountability.
  • Ensure alignment of regional operations with national strategic priorities and client experience goals.
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with corporate financial targets.

Growth & Client Partnership:

  • Spearhead regional business development initiatives including client retention, contract renewals, and organic account expansion.
  • Build and maintain executive-level client relationships, acting as a strategic partner to higher education institutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to launch innovative programs aligned with campus dining trends and evolving customer expectations.

Operational Excellence:

  • Implement operational best practices across foodservice management, quality assurance, safety, and customer engagement.
  • Champion technology and innovation integration to optimize operational processes and enhance service models.
  • Ensure operational compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of executive-level leadership experience managing large-scale, multi-unit foodservice operations.
  • Strong background in contract foodservice is required; higher education dining experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven success overseeing geographically dispersed teams and remote leadership environments.
  • Track record of achieving significant revenue, operational, and client satisfaction targets.
