Job summary

Petaluma Health Center seeks a Senior Vice President of Medical Services to lead strategic direction, growth, and performance across primary care, behavioral health, wellness, and specialty care. The SVPMS will report to the CEO and partner with the CMO and board to align clinical programs with community needs and financial sustainability.

The role drives innovation in care models, service-line development, and physician leadership, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and regulatory

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited medical school.
• Board certified or board eligible in a specified area.
• Active California medical license in good standing.
• Active Federal DEA registration in good standing.
• MBA/MHA or equivalent leadership education preferred.
• Maintain CME as required for certification renewals.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for medical services.
• Develop leadership structures, succession planning, and professional development for physicians and clinical leaders.
• Collaborate with CEO, CMO, and Board on medical strategy and organizational growth.
• Oversee portfolio alignment with HRSA, quality, and patient-centered care.
• Identify opportunities for new programs, care models, and partnerships.
