Job summary

El Camino Health is seeking a Deputy Chief Compliance Officer to lead the enterprise-wide compliance program from Mountain View, CA. You will partner with the CCO to drive risk assessment, auditing, training, investigations, and corrective action across hospitals, physician networks, and affiliates.

The role requires a JD or related graduate degree and at least seven years of healthcare compliance experience, including three years in leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, legal studies, or related field.
Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive healthcare compliance experience.
At least three (3) years in a leadership role overseeing compliance operations.
Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations (AKS, Stark, False Claims Act, HIPAA, CMS).
Proven experience leading risk assessments, audits, investigations and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

Directs day-to-day operations of the organization's Compliance Program.
Oversees risk assessment, auditing and monitoring activities across hospitals and physician network.
Leads education and training programs for employees, medical staff and leadership.
Manages investigations and corrective action plans for compliance concerns.
Reports to Board of Directors and committees; partners with Audit, Legal, HR and Revenue Cycle.
