Job summary
Morningstar DBRS in New York seeks a Senior Vice President to lead strategic accounts within Global Business Development. You will manage relationships across a portfolio of institutional clients, including asset managers and insurers, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to execute account plans.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in strategic account management and deep knowledge of debt capital markets and credit ratings.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic account management or related areas.
- Strong understanding of debt capital markets and credit ratings across public/private credit.
- Experience managing large institutional clients and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to develop account strategies and coordinate cross-functional activity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships across a portfolio of strategic institutional accounts.
- Develop relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Partner with the MD to develop and execute account plans.
- Understand client business models and market positioning.
- Identify opportunities across Morningstar DBRS product sectors and geographies.
- Coordinate engagement across teams to ensure a consistent approach.
- Lead client meetings and manage follow-up actions.
- Translate client needs into actionable opportunities.
