Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep expertise across the full product development lifecycle and regulatory strategy.
• Experience leading major regulatory submissions and FDA/EMA interactions.
• Proven ability to build and lead high‑performing global teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• 15+ years of Regulatory Affairs experience in biopharma.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve Vir Bio's global Regulatory Affairs organization.
• Provide strategic counsel to executive leadership and influence portfolio decisions.
• Define and execute global regulatory strategies across all development stages.
• Oversee regulatory interactions with Health Authorities worldwide.
• Manage filing readiness, submissions, and post‑marketing commitments.
• Assess regulatory risks and inform development strategy.
• Integrate regulatory considerations into development plans and portfolio strategy.
• Build and retain a high‑performing Regulatory Affairs team.
• Represent Regulatory Affairs in governance and leadership forums.
• Drive operational excellence in regulatory planning and execution.
• Engage with external authorities and industry groups.
