Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) seeks a Senior Vice President, Government Relations to lead federal policy, advocacy, and political engagement. Reporting to the President & CEO, you will guide a senior team, build congressional and agency relations, and oversee IPAA's PAC, Fly-In, and NAPE initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree required; JD preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in government relations or policy with senior leadership.
• Energy industry policy and regulation experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of federal processes with Capitol Hill relationships.
• Strong ability to develop advocacy strategies and influence policy outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead IPAA's Government Relations team and set strategic priorities for federal advocacy.
• Advise on legislative and regulatory matters; serve as policy spokesperson.
• Develop and execute federal advocacy strategies to advance member interests.
• Monitor federal developments and recommend positions for action.
• Build relationships with Congress, agencies, and industry coalitions.
• Oversee IPAA's PAC, annual fly-in, and NAPE-related policy programming.
• Represent IPAA publicly, including testimony and press responses.
