Job summary

Family Resource Network seeks a strategic, mission-driven Senior Vice President, Development to lead fundraising, donor engagement, and philanthropic growth across New Jersey. Reporting to the CEO and serving on the Executive Leadership Team, this leader will partner with senior leadership and the Board to strengthen donor relationships, expand revenue, and advance FRN’s mission.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive nonprofit development or fundraising leadership.
• Proven success securing major gifts, corporate partnerships, foundations, and sponsorships.
• Experience leading fundraising campaigns, donor events, development operations, and donor database systems such as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge.
• Senior leadership or executive-level experience with ability to contribute to organization-wide planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual, multi-year, and long-term fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and manage a strong donor pipeline, including major gifts, planned giving, corporate sponsorships, foundation support, and community partnerships.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward high-capacity donors, foundations, corporate leaders, board members, and community stakeholders.
• Lead fundraising events, sponsorship initiatives, campaigns, and donor recognition programs.
• Oversee donor database management, gift tracking, analytics, reporting, stewardship, compliance, and Raiser's Edge administration.
• Partner with the CEO, Board, and Executive Leadership Team on strategy, growth initiatives, funding opportunities, and community representation.
