Job summary

FleishmanHillard seeks a dynamic Vice President to join our Corporate Reputation practice in Texas. You will drive strategic program execution, counsel corporate clients through reputation challenges, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

The role requires 8-10+ years in corporate communications with agency experience, strong crisis and media relations skills, and executive positioning expertise. This is a hybrid Texas-based leadership position with Omnicom backing.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of corporate communications and corporate reputation experience in an agency environment with at least 3 years managing client relationships and programs.
• Expertise in retail, manufacturing and/or healthcare sectors is a plus.
• Crisis and issues management: develop protocols, lead rapid response, manage executives, protect reputation.
• Strong media relations: build relationships with top-tier reporters, secure placements in premium outlets.
• Executive positioning and thought leadership: position corporate leaders, develop speaking opportunities, manage bylined content.
• Strategic counsel: provide senior-level advice on complex reputation challenges and stakeholder engagement.
• Organizational and project management: manage multiple programs, coordinate teams, meet tight timelines.
• Mentor teams and develop junior- and mid-level talent.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior strategic advisor to day-to-day clients and executives on complex reputation challenges and planning.
• Position corporate leaders as industry thought leaders through earned media, speaking opportunities, and content.
• Manage integrated communications programs spanning earned media, issues management, crisis communication, and digital channels.
• Build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors critical to client reputation.
• Coordinate rapid-response protocols and crisis communication during sensitive issues.
• Lead storytelling and messaging reflecting client business models and market dynamics.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure deliverables, deadlines, and strategic alignment.
• Support team members, remove blockers, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.
• Model excellence in client service, strategic thinking, and execution.
