Job summary

Heart of Florida United Way seeks a Chief Financial Officer’s senior execution partner to translate strategies into actionable workplans and drive cross‑functional initiatives. You will direct complex projects, coordinate with functional leaders, and ensure accountability across the organization.

The role requires strong program management, executive-level communication, and a proven ability to influence senior leaders while safeguarding confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, public administration, organizational leadership, project management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree or relevant professional certification preferred.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in business operations, strategic execution, transformation, or portfolio leadership.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved strategies into actionable workplans and measurable results.
• Direct assigned work and escalate matters requiring executive action.
• Lead cross-functional Business Operations initiatives from planning to implementation.
• Coordinate functions while respecting departmental authority over strategy and staff.
• Maintain an integrated view of priorities including schedules, resources, risks, and interdependencies.
• Lead the Business Operations cadence including governance and reviews.
• Prepare executive workplans, dashboards, analyses, and decision materials.
• Support governance, risk, and compliance priorities across functions.
• Assist facilities, real estate, technology modernization, and grants initiatives.
