Job summary

CBRE's VAS team seeks a First Vice President to lead appraisal review processes, ensure USPAP compliance, and align with regulatory and client requirements. You will guide real estate appraisers, manage risk, and drive quality in valuation reviews.

You will collaborate with leadership, participate in key initiatives, mentor trainees, and contribute to client development while upholding ethics and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a four-year college or university required; Master's degree preferred.
• General State Certification/License and MAI designation required.
• Proficiency in Argus, MS Word, and MS Excel; strong writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Appraisal Report Review Process within the division to meet TAT requirements.
• Participate in leadership meetings and support implementation of critical initiatives.
• Address risk identified through CBRE's ERM program and QRM policies.
• Promote adherence to the VAS Practice Area Guidelines (PAG).
• Determine valuation scope by talking with clients, selecting approaches and techniques for valuing property.
• Research and analyze property data including inventory, sales, vacancies, and listings.
• Prepare appraisal reports describing property characteristics, procedures, and analysis; disclose assumptions and conditions.
• Maintain USPAP compliance and confidentiality; contribute to client development and mentoring.
