Job summary

You will work with multi-region public cloud deployments and real‑time communications to deliver reliable voice services, collaborating with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Related technical degree required.
• Experience in large-scale voice infrastructure deployments in public clouds.
• Hands-on experience with real-time communications (PSTN, SIP, VoIP) at scale.
• Experience operating a 24/7 voice system with high availability.
• Experience configuring SBCs and SIP trunking.
• Experience using tools to configure, monitor, and maintain voice infrastructure.
• Ability to set up alerting and monitoring for voice infra and call quality.
• Security awareness for VoIP networks and updating stacks for security.
• Troubleshooting VoIP issues such as call setup, QoS, jitter, drops, SIP errors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder update skills.
• Work with carriers and vendors; understand regional voice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Join the team responsible for innovating, maintaining, and monitoring Salesforce's massive-scale voice infrastructure.
• Work with external VoIP/PSTN carriers and other vendors such as SBC providers to ensure interoperability.
• Collaborate with Service Cloud Voice team to deliver reliable, scalable voice services across regions.
• Plan capacity and maintain security posture for VoIP networks.
