Parlance is building conversational voice AI for healthcare with patient-facing agents that verify identity, schedule, and access EHR data across Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and Athena. We seek a senior full-stack engineer who owns problems end to end—from telephony and real-time media to APIs and data services behind the platform.

You’ll design and ship a next-generation voice platform, shaping architecture and contributing to engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building production software with depth in Python and across backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience building voice agents on real-time frameworks (Pipecat, LiveKit, Vapi, Retell, Daily).
• Experience integrating LLMs into production systems with prompt design and function calling.

Responsabilités

• Design and build real-time voice agents with telephony and STT/TTS pipelines.
• Own features across the stack including telephony connectivity and backend services.
• Build and extend services connecting agents to EHRs and scheduling with secure data access.
• Debug production issues across cloud, telephony, and third-party APIs.
• Set up observability to monitor voice agents and their health.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, success teams, and customers to ship software.
