Job summary

Caswell Developmental Center is seeking a Community Employment Program Technician (CEPT) to lead vocational instruction across on-campus and community settings. You will coach residents, implement targeted interventions, and document progress to support competitive employment opportunities.

The role focuses on skill development, money management, behavior modification, and communication, with hours from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at Vocational Services.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Experience as a job coach, implementing objective training, data collection, and behavior programs.
• Flexibility to cross-train across vocational areas and settings.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds and related activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead vocational instruction on-campus and in community/public settings.
• Serve as job coach for residents at on- and off-campus sites to support competitive employment.
• Implement vocational interventions, assess skills, document progress, and make revisions as needed.
• Collect and interpret data, time records, and ensure wage/hour compliance.
