Job summary

ManTech seeks a VMware Administrator to join our team in Norfolk, Virginia. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing VMware vSphere infrastructure, including vCenter Server and ESXi hosts, with strong troubleshooting and optimization skills.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma and 5+ years of VMware experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Candidates must have US citizenship and an active Secret clearance. This is an onsite position with potential travel.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure VMware vSphere servers.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware infrastructure performance.
• Manage VMware vCenter Server, including resource allocation and performance tuning.
• Plan and execute VMware ESXi host upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate VMware with storage, network, and other systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for VMware configurations and procedures.
• Provide technical support to end-users and other IT teams as needed.
