Job summary

Shiseido Americas is seeking a Sr Manager of Procurement - Visual Merchandising to lead the development of visual merchandising units and manage vendor relationships across the Americas. You will partner with VM Design to ensure cost-effective, high-quality displays while driving on-time delivery through VM Project Management.

You will supervise two Senior Buyers, negotiate bids, and drive strategic VM projects to reduce costs and improve quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Design, and/or Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of Visual Merchandising experience with technical knowledge of display engineering and manufacturing.
• Experience in prestige beauty across multiple channels (department store, open sell, boutique).

Responsibilities

• Manage development of VM units and act as primary vendor contact.
• Lead and develop a team of two Senior Buyers.
• Review feasibility and costs with vendors.
• Partner with VM Design to balance cost and functionality.
• Obtain bids and negotiate project costs.
• Drive strategic VM projects to reduce costs and improve quality.
• Coordinate engineering drawings for design intent.
• Test and approve prototypes.
• Place purchase orders and track production.
• Monitor display maintenance and issues.
• Stay ahead of trends by attending shows and networking.
• Support VM process across Retail environments (Sephora, Ulta, Macy's).
