Hearst Television seeks a Senior Vizrt News Designer to lead on-air graphics design across its 35 local stations and two radio stations. You will mentor a team, design Vizrt news templates, and shape show packaging for multiple platforms.

Based in Winter Park, FL, the role collaborates with Design and Production managers to deliver cohesive branding and storytelling across HTV’s television markets.

Qualifications

• Designing, evolving, and maintaining an on-air news graphics package.
• Success in designing and animating on-air news templates and motion graphics, series packaging, or streaming content.
• Experience working in collaborative environments, contributing to efficient workflows and team success.

Responsibilities

• Create on-air Vizrt news template designs for the station group.
• Collaborate on rollout of templates and new features for on-air storytelling.
• Assist in organizing and cataloging station branded assets used across multiple platforms.
• Contribute to finding patterns supporting standardized news templates.
• Create show packaging for individual stations and the station group.
