Job summary

Google, maker of YouTube on TVs, is seeking a Senior Visual Designer to shape the Living Room design system and create cohesive, accessible TV interfaces. You will work with engineering and product teams to translate insights into compelling visuals that scale across devices.

You will drive design systems, craft high-fidelity prototyping, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver beautiful, innovative experiences for millions of living rooms worldwide.

• Craft, maintain, and evolve the Living Room design system component library, driving alignment with engineering and core foundations through robust documentation, strict variable consistency, and token adoption.
• Lead the integration of AI-assisted workflows into our design pipeline to enable rapid, high-fidelity prototyping of next-generation visual styles and experimental TV interaction patterns.
• Leverage principal contributors to explore concept development to influence product, a point-of-view around visual style, and product commitments.
• Defend YouTube products, our brand promise, and its unique value proposition amid an interlaced relationship with YouTube’s master brand.
• Partner with visual programs within our organization to evolve and apply new design styles and aesthetics for our suite of products.
