Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Visual Designer to join the Workplace Health and Safety Team in Bellevue. You will translate complex safety concepts into clear visuals, create assets for campaigns, installations, and communications, and ensure alignment with brand standards.

You will work with stakeholders across regions, presenting concepts and guiding design decisions to scale global safety programs while maintaining design integrity.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of creative services experience.
• Portfolio showing strong visual design across media.
• Experience coordinating across multiple teams and owners.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Strong PowerPoint design, templates, animation and transitions.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Experience presenting to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with asset management and design workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex safety concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
• Create illustrations and assets for campaigns, installations, and communications.
• Apply typography, composition, scale, and color theory to design assets.
• Deliver work that raises the bar for quality and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with marketing, engineering, product, and program teams to meet goals.
• Present ideas to senior leaders and stakeholders with sound design judgment.
• Balance time, quality, and resources; decide when to escalate or resolve.
• Share knowledge and contribute to process improvements.
• Discuss audience needs and tailor visuals to the brief.
• Adhere to WHS visual style standards and brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with production vendors for estimates and samples.
