Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Senior Engineer, Perception/Vision to join a multi-disciplinary team in Atlanta, GA. You will lead camera and sensing R&D, translating concepts into commercially viable solutions and developing IP for AutoStore.

The role collaborates with product management, engineering teams, and external partners to meet customer needs while driving innovation and fast-feasibility validation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5–15 years delivering camera and sensing solutions for customers.
• Expert in advanced sensing and vision with a history of delivering products to market.
• Familiar with design tools, processes and techniques to deliver solutions on schedule.
• Ability to partner with other experts internally to deliver a complete solution.
• Experience working with external partners to specify, quality, and launch solutions.
• Excellent communication skills across organizational levels.
• Familiar with Project Management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop HW solutions related to advanced sensing and vision.
• Work with Product Management to understand customer needs and deliver solutions.
• Promote a culture of learning and innovation; utilize ideation tools.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and guide engineering trade-offs.
• Assess compatibility with system requirements across teams and cultures.
• Translate ideas into commercialized solutions aligned to customer needs.
• Develop IP for AutoStore.
• Build relationships with tech partners; support PoC efforts.
