Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in digital video, with emphasis on journalism or documentary.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and comfortable in After Effects.
- Experience coordinating post‑production including color, sound, and graphics.
- Experience editing in different styles and tones (journalistic, humorous).
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects at once under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Edit original short‑ and long‑form videos on topics from news to culture, with archival research, animation, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Oversee video post‑production workflows, set priorities, and shepherd projects through editorial closing, fact checks, and legal review.
- Review video submissions and work with filmmakers to prepare films for publication.
- Shepherd video projects through pre‑production, production, and distribution, providing creative input and coordination.
