Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking an experienced video editor to lead post‑production for Terran R storytelling. You’ll edit footage into compelling videos with color, sound, and motion graphics, under the guidance of the Manager of Media Production.

The role spans commercial, branded, documentary, social, and narrative content, requiring a highly adaptable editor and strong collaboration with the Brand & Communications team. Frequent travel to collaborators and shoots is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film or Media Production.
• 7+ years of experience as an editor in a collaborative environment with a portfolio.
• Pro‑level fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere and After Effects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work on‑time in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to juggle multiple editing projects and deadlines in parallel.
• Availability to make frequent trips to Stennis, MS and Cape Canaveral, FL and work on a flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Edit world‑class video content from rough cut to final delivery incorporating color correction, sound design, and motion graphics in the final exports.
• Manage large‑scale media asset ingestion, organization, cataloging, and archiving with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
• Provide editorial guidance in pre‑shoot meetings, on‑site, and in post‑production that aligns with the goals of the team.
• Translate creative briefs, brand strategies, and business needs into high‑impact, creative videos.
• Work in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and build relationships and trust with stakeholders, peers and working groups.
• Assist our production team with operating cameras as needed during shoots.
