Job summary

Axis Communications, Sophia-Antipolis, is seeking a Software Engineer for Video Analytics. You will develop cutting-edge technologies to analyze video streams and infer high-level information for products shipped worldwide.

You’ll participate in all phases from inception to customer feedback. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Sweden, including embedded Linux engineers, AI R&D researchers, validation engineers, front-end, and other software engineers, delivering robust, reusable

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or related field, ideally imaging/video.
• Proficient in Python and/or C++ in Windows and Linux.
• At least 5 years designing, developing and testing software products.
• Familiar with Git and Gerrit, MLOps, test automation, and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge in cameras, imaging, software evaluation and embedded software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting-edge technologies for video stream analysis to build analytics products.
• Contribute across the full product lifecycle from design to validation.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Sweden across embedded Linux, AI R&D, validation, and front-end.
• Write robust, reusable code that ships worldwide.
