Browning Environmental Communications is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead our corporate business in North America, reporting to the CEO. The role offers location flexibility in Washington, DC or Boston, or the option to establish a new US office for the right candidate.

You will drive new business development, shape thought leadership, and provide strategic counsel to senior clients while expanding the US team and growing revenues across corporate and B2B markets.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications or strategic communications.
• 5+ years of management experience at a major agency with demonstrated ability to grow revenues.
• 5+ years’ experience in corporate sustainability or related fields.
• Ideally a pre-existing network among CSOs in North America.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications in English.
• U.S. passport, Green card, or U.S. visa.

• Manage development of marketing materials and agency thought leadership focused on the North American market.
• Provide strategic counsel to — and coordinate with — senior client representatives day-to-day.
• Oversee delivery of retained and project-based assignments, including intelligence services, branding and content, marketing and campaigns, corporate communications, strategic communications, and crisis management.
• Build relationships with clients to grow client accounts organically.
• Oversee hiring and development of the US team supporting the corporate business, and manage team capacity.
• Support new business development and contribute knowledge and solutions to activities for all US and international offices.
• Contribute to agency knowledge management systems.

Browning Environmental Communications (Browning) is seeking a Senior Vice President to lead our corporate business in North America, reporting to the agency’s CEO, with a focus on corporate sustainability communications. The position can be located in either our Washington, D.C. or Boston offices, or there is the opportunity to set up a new office in the United States for the right individual.

Responsibilities and Scope

• Leading new business development in North America: business planning, networking, agency proposals, presentations, negotiation, and securing business, focused on the corporate and B2B markets.
• Managing development of marketing materials and agency thought leadership focused on the North American market.
• Providing strategic counsel to — and coordinating with — senior representatives of clients day-to-day and processing their changing needs.
• Overseeing outstanding delivery of retained and project-based assignments, including intelligence services, branding and content, marketing and campaigns, corporate communications, strategic communications, and crisis management
• Building relationships with clients to grow client accounts organically.
• Overseeing hiring and development of the US team supporting the corporate business, and managing team capacity.
• Supporting new business development and contributing knowledge and solutions to activities for all US and international offices
• Contributing to agency knowledge management systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• An inspiring leader, prepared to take responsibility for developing an office, and for building a team.
• Strong organizational and client relations skills essential.
• 10+ years’ experience incorporate communications and/or strategic communications.
• 5+ years’ management experience at a major communications agency, with demonstrated ability to grow revenues.
• 5+ years’ experience of corporate sustainability, circular economy, sustainable agriculture, clean energy, sustainable manufacturing, etc. including ideally experience of policy engagement.
• Ideally a pre-existing network among CSOs in North America.
• Outstanding written and verbal communications in English.
• U.S. passport, Green card, or U.S. visa.
• Great references.
