Job summary

Audacy is seeking an experienced Senior Vice President, Sales in Dallas to lead regional sales with a focus on exceeding revenue objectives and building a high-performance team. You will work closely with Account Executives and cross-functional partners to drive digital audio and data-driven monetization across our local market.

You will mentor a large sales organization, recruit top talent, and own the forecasting and budgeting process while navigating the evolving media landscape.

Responsibilities

• Exceed revenue objectives by managing Account Executives and clients.
• Hold the sales team accountable to priorities and drive results through internal reporting structures.
• Develop and refine a focused sales strategy with measurable tactics to generate revenue.
• Lead and train the sales team in evolving media trends, including audio, digital, and data.
• Develop client relationships through meetings with Account Executives to understand market needs.
• Guide management decisions using data, scale, and available resources.
• Create opportunities in audio, digital, and experiences aligned with client needs.
• Own department metrics: weekly revenue, pacing, forecasting.

Overview:

Audacy, a leading multi-platform audio content and entertainment company that engages 200 million consumers each month, is seeking an experienced, high-energy, high-achieving Senior Vice President, Sales in our Dallas market.

Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you’ll work alongside a team of passionate colleagues and with a high-achieving culture, committed to delivering results, marketing excellence and unwavering customer service. You will work cross-functionally with all Department Leads, and will be responsible for the successful achievement of the total sales goal in Chattanooga.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for exceeding revenue objectives by impacting people (Account Executives and clients).
• Hold our sales team accountable to all priorities, with the ability to manage through both internal direct reporting relationships and peer groups to drive results.
• Develop, refine and maintain discipline on a focused overall sales strategy, with specific, measurable tactics and actions that generate sales & revenue.
• Ability to lead and train sales team in evolving media trends- including but not limited to - digital audio, attribution, data, digital
• Develop and grow relationships with clients, through both individual and joint meetings with Account Executives, and develop a deep understanding of their needs in the marketplace.
• Leverage our data, scale and resources to guide sound management and operational decision-making across the sales organization.
• Create sales (audio, digital, experiential, etc.,) opportunities that align with client needs and demand.
• Own financial metrics of the department, including weekly revenue, pacing and forecasting.
• Monitor competition and trends in the market.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• You must be a Sales Leader and have the skill and drive to Inspire in today’s changing environment, motivating a sales team to success and contribute innovative ideas to generate revenue
• You have a history of effectively leading a large sales organization and can recruit and retain top talent
• You must be goal driven and creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
• 5+ years Manager experience in media, preferably audio and digital
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills, including the ability to develop talent and build a high-performance culture across the organization
• Data and results driven leader with a proven track record of leading a successful sales team through change and innovation
• Strong background in strategic account management, sales training/leadership, pricing and budgeting required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and organizational skills; high proficiency in Google Suite tools
• Experience effectively utilizing Salesforce to manage teams and forecasts
• High work intensity with the ability to manage various projects and products proactively, and deliver quality results on or before deadlines
• Exceptional Presentation Skills
• Highly skilled negotiator
• BS/BA Degree Preferred
