Job summary

BNY is seeking a Senior Vice President in Fund/Client Accounting to lead multiple Fund Accounting teams in Lake Mary, FL. A four-day in-office expectation is in place as part of collaborate operations.

You will direct NAV determinations, allocate expenses, and prepare client reports while maintaining governance and guiding teams through complex issues. Strong leadership and Big 4 background are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5–7 years of total work experience with 1–3 years in management preferred.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
• People leadership experience is applicable, as this role manages multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple Fund Accounting teams responsible for accounting services for clients, including NAV, fund performance, expense allocation, and reporting.
• Oversee NAV calculation for funds across sectors and measurement cycles.
• Manage client relationships and resolve escalated fund calculation issues.
• Provide guidance to teams to ensure records comply with policies and resolve complex issues.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President in Fund/Client Accounting to join our team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL. There is a four day in office requirement.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Direct multiple Fund Accounting teams responsible for conducting accounting services on behalf of a broad array of assigned clients, including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports.
• Direct processes and allocation of resources in determining the net asset value (NAV) for assigned funds in multiple sectors for each measurement cycle.
• Manage relationships with a broad set of clients and resolve any unique escalated issues related to fund calculations and accounting.
• Provide guidance to teams to ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with departmental policies and procedures and resolve complex escalated issues from team members.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5-7 years of total work experience and at least 1-3 years in management preferred.
• Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
• People leadership experience is applicable, as this role manages multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams.
