With offices in five key markets, Miami, New York, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, and Los Angeles, Concord Summit provides national reach with localized expertise.

The Opportunity

Concord Summit Capital is seeking an accomplished, hands‑on Senior Vice President of Finance & Operations to lead the firm’s financial strategy, accounting, reporting, and operational execution. Reporting directly to the Managing Partners, the ideal candidate combines rigorous accounting expertise, fluency in commercial real estate finance, and a proven ability to build scalable processes and support senior leadership on growth and profitability.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Own all finance and accounting functions, including monthly close, financial statements, general ledger, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis across brokerage, advisory, and other business lines; establish KPIs, profitability reporting, revenue forecasts, and management dashboards.
  • Oversee revenue recognition, transaction and commission accounting, receivables, payables, expense controls, and cash-flow planning appropriate to a transaction-driven commercial real estate platform.
  • Act as a strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership on capital allocation, pricing, compensation economics, expansion, acquisitions, and long-term business planning.
  • Assume enterprise-wide operating leadership: improve workflows, standardize policies, coordinate cross‑functional execution, and drive accountability across teams and multiple businesses.
  • Manage and develop accounting, finance, and relevant administrative/operations personnel; evaluate organizational structure, hiring needs, and third‑party service providers.
  • Lead annual budgets and operating plans, monitor performance against targets, and implement corrective actions to improve margins, productivity, and execution.
  • Oversee relationships with banks, lenders, auditors, tax advisors, insurance brokers, and other professional partners; coordinate tax, audit, and regulatory compliance with specialists.
  • Strengthen systems and technology, including accounting platforms, CRM‑to‑finance reporting, data integrity, automation, and scalable operational infrastructure.
  • Provide clear, timely reporting to ownership and other stakeholders; identify financial, operational, liquidity, and compliance risks and recommend practical solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
  • At least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including substantial responsibility for financial reporting, controls, budgeting, and cash management.
  • At least 4 years of meaningful operational management experience, preferably overseeing teams, processes, or shared services across multiple businesses or business units.
  • Demonstrated leadership at the controller, VP Finance, CFO, or comparable senior finance level, with the ability to operate both strategically and hands‑on.
  • Strong foundation in GAAP accounting, financial analysis, forecasting, and management reporting; experience coordinating external audits and tax advisors.
  • Experience in a transaction-oriented professional services, financial advisory, brokerage, or similarly complex business model.
  • Track record of improving operating efficiency, developing managers, implementing systems, and supporting profitable growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA preferred.
  • Approximately 6+ years of experience in commercial real estate finance, capital markets, debt/equity placement, or related real estate advisory is strongly preferred but not required.
  • Base salary: $175,000-$275,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • Additional individual-performance and company-performance bonus opportunities; structure and targets to be discussed during the hiring process.
  • Flexible, uncapped paid time off, exercised with sound judgment and coordinated with business needs and leadership responsibilities.
  • Employer-sponsored health insurance and access to a 401(k) retirement plan, subject to applicable plan terms.
