Responsibilities
The Product Specialist Group ("PSG") is a part of Oaktree's Marketing & Client Relations organization and is responsible for serving as representatives and subject matter experts for Oaktree's strategies and products.
This role will be aligned to Oaktree's business development companies ("BDCs") within the Global Private Debt platform. The candidate will be expected to develop subject matter expertise regarding our BDCs' investment approach, portfolios and competitive advantages. The candidate will work in close partnership with portfolio management and investment team, as well as with our sales organization (both Oaktree and Brookfield Oaktree Wealth Solutions) to : (i) formulate marketing strategy and execute fundraising and (ii) serve as a key point of contact for sales reps, bank platforms, advisors and individual investors.
Selected responsibilities include :
Writing and collating responses (in partnership with Oaktree Diligence Services) to client and prospect RFPs, due diligence questionnaires and other inquiries
Investor Relations / Client Servicing
Quarterly earnings process for our BDCs (public and private), including press releases, presentations, earnings call scripts and talking points;

The successful candidate should :
Education
Bachelor's degree (major in Finance, Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred). MBA, CFA or other recognized advanced credentials a plus.
Base Salary Range
250,000 - $275,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and / or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
