Job summary

The USCC COO Business Execution team at Citi is seeking a senior-level Business Unit Manager to drive end-to-end projects, deliver results, and collaborate with cross-functional partners in New York.

Responsibilities include optimizing operations, managing the P&L and third-party spend, leading strategic initiatives, vendor management, and ensuring compliance and risk controls while safeguarding Citi and its clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial services.
• Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of P&L, accruals, client allocations, capitalization, recovery and fixed price contracts.
• Proven ability to work in a diverse, collaborative team.
• Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational and reporting efficiency by partnering with internal teams to improve processes
• Manage financial control by applying a comprehensive understanding of the department Profit & Loss (P&L), including managing direct expenses, accruals, allocations, and third-party spend to achieve operational efficiency and productivity commitments
• Responsible for cross USCC strategic initiatives and critical investments, including technology investments, staffing, regulatory matters, and
• Execute vendor management activities, including ensuring legal requirements are met and coordinating contract negotiation and processing
• Provide oversight of the Business-Critical Milestone Reporting process and other reporting processes to ensure quality, efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure headcount is accurate, real estate is inventoried and planned, and onboarding and termination of resources are managed
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
