Qualifications

• DVM or related degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in CO.
• 1 year minimum experience in veterinary practice.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication.
• Works collaboratively with hospital team members.
• Manages time and tasks appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to concerns.
• Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures delivering high-quality care.
• Communicates with clients on diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutrition.
• Maintains medical/surgical records and logs per protocols.
• Stays current on new medical information and veterinary medicine.
• Assists in developing paraprofessional team to ensure high-quality care and client service.
• Represents the hospital positively in professional community.
