UrgentVet Hospitals in Sarasota seeks a Part-time Senior Veterinary Assistant to provide outstanding patient care, lead a supportive team, and deliver excellent client service in our fast-paced, state-of-the-art urgent care clinic. The role supports cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house labs to ensure top-tier care.

The ideal candidate has animal-handling experience, phlebotomy and basic lab skills, is able to lift up to 40 lbs, and is available evenings, weekends, and holidays;

Qualifications

• Experience handling animals with restraint and monitoring.
• Phlebotomy and basic lab testing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist in patient care.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service in a hospital setting.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced clinic.
