Job summary

UrgentVet Belmont is seeking a Full-Time Senior Veterinary Assistant to deliver outstanding patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will lead a small team, support clinicians, and ensure smooth client service and clinic operations on-site at our Belmont location.

Ideal candidates have animal handling experience in a hospital setting, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience handling animals in a hospital setting with restraint and monitoring.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with clinical tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient care in a fast-paced urgent care clinic.
• Support clinicians and lead the team as a senior veterinary assistant.
• Assist with client service, education, and coordination of care.
• Maintain on-site presence to support patient care and safety.
