Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a Senior Veterinarian - Emergency & Critical Care (ECC) in Manhattan, NY. This 24/7, 365-day department handles high-acuity emergencies with access to a full suite of advanced diagnostics and a large, multidisciplinary team.

The role includes mentoring interns and residents, supervising ICU patients overnight, and collaborating with board-certified criticalists and specialists to advance education and patient care.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Completion of a 1-year rotating internship required.
• Must be actively practicing as an emergency veterinarian.

Responsibilities

• Handle emergency cases in a high-acuity environment.
• Provide advanced emergency and critical care.
• Mentor interns and ECC residents.
• Monitor ICU patients during overnight rotations.
• Collaborate with board-certified criticalists and specialists.
• Contribute to clinical education and mentorship.
• Engage in continuing education and review literature.
