Job summary

UrgentVet - Coon Rapids is seeking a Full-Time Senior Veterinary Assistant to deliver exceptional patient care, support the clinical team, and provide strong client service in a busy urgent care clinic.

You will work on-site in Coon Rapids, handle animal restraint, sampling, and basic lab work, and contribute to team leadership. Evening and weekend availability is required; lifting up to 40 lbs is expected. Travel for onboarding may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Animal handling including patient restraint, sample collection, and monitoring.
• Phlebotomy, catheter placement, laboratory analysis, and drug calculation.
• Additional duties including facility maintenance and client education.

• Assist in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Support team leadership and client service to ensure a positive client experience.
• Perform on-site tasks such as sample collection, lab tests, and basic patient monitoring.
