Job summary
CGS (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Veritas Enterprise Vault Engineer to support legal accounts within a fast-paced, executive-level role. You will configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Vault systems, coordinate change controls, and drive storage migrations while ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Responsibilities include responding to alerts, performing routine maintenance, scripting for automation, and guiding cloud migrations.
Qualifications
- Experience with Veritas Enterprise Vault in enterprise environments.
- Ability to perform configurations, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with change control processes and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, monitor and troubleshoot systems using current engineering documentation.
- Log configurations changes through the change control board and track tickets.
- Process storage requests, migrations and decommission tasks.
- Monitor failed components and coordinate vendor and site support as needed.
- Respond to monitoring alerts with prompt corrective actions and escalations.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and apply OS patches/upgrades.
- Manage technology in remote environments and automate routine tasks with scripts.
- Facilitate migration of systems into cloud infrastructure and verify backups.
- Review logs to verify completion of scheduled jobs and backups.
