Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Vehicle Software Integration & Test Engineer to lead software integration, validation, and development operations across embedded domains, including chassis, body, and thermal systems. You will drive in-vehicle test campaigns, analyze CAN logs, and collaborate with calibration and test teams to ensure software readiness for major releases.

The role requires hands-on testing, ECU flashing, and data-driven decision making, with travel to proving grounds and test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with hands-on experience in vehicle-level software validation and integration.
• Experience in planning, executing, and debugging vehicle-level test campaigns across multiple domains.
• Strong knowledge of automotive embedded systems and diagnostic tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle-level test plans for pre-merge and post-merge software releases across chassis, body, and thermal domains.
• Design and perform in-vehicle tests including ride-and-handling evaluations and tuning using data-analysis tools.
• Maintain prototype fleet readiness and document test results with clear context and logs.
