Job summary

ACRT Pacific seeks a Senior Vegetation Management Inspector to supervise tree clearance crews and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The role involves patrolling circuits, determining trims or removals, and coordinating with clients and agencies such as Caltrans and USFS.

Training and QA/QC support are integral to daily tasks. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a Class C license, and relevant vegetation management experience, with OSHA 30-hour and TRAQ/CTSP

Qualifications

Must have a High School diploma or GED and a valid Class C driver’s license.
Experience: five years in vegetation management, forestry, or related fields; various eligible backgrounds listed.
Ability to use GIS data collection and reporting tools is expected.

Responsibilities

Patrol distribution or transmission circuits and prescribe work for PG&E tree contractors.
Assess trees for potential strike hazards and determine trims or removals.
Ensure work complies with PG&E Vegetation Management Standards and safety regulations.
Lead safety observations and QA/QC of field activities.
Coordinate with clients, Caltrans, USFS, and other agencies as needed.
Assist in training VM Inspectors and supporting outage investigations.
