Job summary

Biogen is seeking a Senior IT Architect to lead Veeva Domain architecture across Development, Quality, Regulatory, Safety, and Commercial functions. You will govern target-state architecture, guide cross-functional teams, and ensure scalable, compliant solutions within the Veeva ecosystem.

Qualifications

8+ years in Veeva System configuration/design and life sciences IT consulting.
Experience with Veeva Vault configurations for Safety/Clinical or similar vaults.
Proven ability to define and govern architecture standards across domains.
Experience leading cross-functional architecture initiatives.
Able to work independently in dynamic environments and align investments with business goals.

Responsibilities

Translate business needs into scalable Veeva configurations and processes.
Mentor configuration and development teams during solution delivery.
Review and approve design work for compliance with requirements.
Provide architecture oversight during implementation, releases, and platform enhancements.
Serve as architecture authority for cross-vault capabilities and integrations.
Drive consistency and standardization across the Veeva ecosystem.
Define target-state architecture across Vaults and govern platform standards.
Coordinate with Veeva Product teams for roadmap alignment.
Partner with Functional IT leadership on platform strategy and investments.
Act as trusted advisor ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
