Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Engineer for their Advanced Manufacturing Group. This site-based role can be located in the United States, especially preferred near a Jacobs U.S. office.

The VDC Engineer will provide management and leadership in VDC/BIM, oversee digital delivery and ensure project success through effective coordination and technical support. A qualified applicant will ideally have strong BIM software proficiency, leadership skills, and at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership.
• Lead the creation and implementation of BIM Execution Plans.
• Oversee clash detection and resolution as BIM subject matter expert.
