Job summary

Barton Malow is seeking a Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) Sr. Engineer to join our growing team in Nashville, TN. You will support the delivery of VDC services across complex projects and pursuits, partnering closely with project teams, designers, and clients to enhance quality, optimize schedule and cost, and drive constructability.

The Sr. VDC Engineer works semi-independently, with guidance from VDC Managers, and leads efforts to advance VDC processes, mentor teams, and shape

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with VDC responsibilities.
• Ability to travel throughout greater Nashville to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate VDC purpose and standards, train teams, and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Set up and support Box, Bluebeam, Autodesk Forma, 5D takeoff, and scheduling tools; tie models to schedules.
• Maintain 3D coordination, model QA/QC, and Revit/AutoCAD workflows with limited assistance.
• Assist in software testing for new releases and BIM guidelines compliance.
• Support 3D/4D/5D workflows including BIM spec plans and AE BIM guidelines.
