Senior VDC/BIM Engineer (Finance)

Compensation Range
$81,300.00 - $122,000.00 Annual Salary

Job Description Summary:

Work with VD&C Manager & Assigned Project to create field-related layout, detail, and coordination drawings.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with on-site project teams to update models reflecting as-built conditions.
2. Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks for project coordination and development of accurate drawings.
3. Establish and maintain project standards, improving systems for consistent layout, detailing, and coordination.
4. Lead the implementation of BIM technologies on large-scale projects.
5. Manage, train, and supervise team members in creating and updating drawings.
6. Provide technical support for BIM software and hardware.
7. Assist in developing and setting up the BIM Model Server platform.
8. Integrate 3D Laser Scanning into project procedures.
9. Stay updated on hardware and software capabilities and train others accordingly.
10. Collaborate with Swinerton Labs and The Center For Excellence.
11. Develop digital images, renderings, and videos for marketing and proposals.
12. Support firm-wide BIM standards and CAD tools with IT and VDC staff.
13. Participate in adopting the Virtual Design & Construction program.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Skills and Experience:

• 3-4 years of experience with Revit & AutoCAD in architecture, engineering, or construction.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and Revit Architecture/Structural.
• Experience with Navisworks and survey/layout.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.
